Tom Ford is going from Gucci creative director to movie director with his helming debut "A Single Man."
The movie, adapted from Christopher Isherwood's 1964 novel of the same name, centers on a gay college professor (Colin Firth) who, after the sudden death of his partner, tries to go about his typical day in Los Angeles. Julianne Moore will play the professor's friend who helps him deal with the death.
The story sounds interesting enough, but I really became excited when I realized that my sweet Lee Pace (Ned from the defunct "Pushing Daisies") has a part in the film. I was bummed when they trampled on my "Daisies", so it's nice to see lovely Lee back at it.
It also begs the question, "Is Tom Ford qualified to direct a major motion picture?"

I say, "Sure!" And from the looks of it, Tom agrees.
